The Bible assures us that charity endures, it is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. This enduring nature of charity, often equated with love, provides a comforting reassurance in our lives, offering peace and security.
Love, when it governs the home, has the power to heal. When a husband and wife love each other selflessly, they can love as God loves. This healing aspect of love is the reason we have a Savior today. God's love for the world led to the ultimate act of atonement. Love is not just forceful; it is profoundly comforting. It brings trust, faith, forgiveness, and rest, instilling hope and optimism.
In this time of uncertainty, fear, apprehension, and chaos, we must love one another more than ever. Love will cast out all fear, providing security and confidence. The Bible admonishes us to love one another. In John 13:34-35 (NKJV), Jesus said, "A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this will all know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." Let this commandment inspire and encourage us in our journey of faith.
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this, the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought to love one another." John 4:7-11 (NKJV). God's love is like a parent's love for their child; it is always forgiving, always guiding, and always wanting the best for us. Love will change the world.
There is a lot of fear among Christians. It should not be so. Fear is the lack of confidence. God wants us to love and trust Him. He wants to guide us in His love and to trust His plan for our lives, knowing He knows what is best for us.
Remember that His love casts out all fear, and we can find comfort and strength in His love.
