ADD TO MY FAVORITES
Be guide for me each day,
And when I cannot sleep at night,
They’ll help me as I pray.
With Psalms, I have encouragement.
I love Psalm 23.
I know the Lord’s my Shepherd, and
He watches over me.
In Psalm 139, I see
He knows each word I’ll say
Before it’s even spoken.
That’s His omniscient way.
Psalm 37 gives advice
To trust God and do good.
He’ll give me my desires if
I love Him as I should.
Psalm 103 reveals to me
His list of benefits.
Forgiving my iniquities
Is first thing on the list.
In Psalm 121, I read
God never goes to sleep.
Both day and night He cares for me.
His promises, He’ll keep.
It’s Lamentations where I learn
Of mercies new each day.
What’s more, I find His faithfulness
Will guide me on my way.
I learned these verses long ago
And stored them in my heart.
I still remember all of them.
At least, I can, in part.
