I think it takes a brainic!
Though really it makes "my brainy ache"
How much more can I take
of this?
Oh my brainy ache
So many names to recall
My memory’s too small
So many birthdays to remember
From January to December
Thank goodness for belated birthday cards
So that I can say
sorry I missed your big day
Hope it was great any way.
But belated Christmas,
is that a thing?
it's not that I can say
The thought of Christmas
skipped my mind
What.kind
Of excuse is that?
That December 25
came and went
without my getting the
Christmas cards sent
And so I made my own
Belated cards
And here's the words I did say
for that belated Christmas day
Even though Christmas
Has already passed
Here’s hoping the joy
Will continue to last
Today and the whole
Year through.
A brainiac
That I'm not
There's too many things
that I have forgotten
It makes me feel rotten
with guilt
But Rome wasn't built
in a day
And neither is my memory enhancement
And so I continue the advancement
Of my goals
But even thought I'm no brainiac
There's one thing I will never forget
The most life changing one I ever met
Was born on Christmas Day
Jesús my Savior
Changed me forever
And that I will never
Forget
