Guess what? I joined Snapchat! I know. I know, only a few years out of date, but I am now really hip. Any hipper and I’d be too wide to get through the door. Anyway, my handle there is ‘diabolica666.’ (See what I did there? I used the number that Our Enemy Above says is so bad.)
I’ve been keeping an eye on your recent work with your human, and I must say, you’re making some exciting moves. However, there's a crucial aspect of your strategy that needs a bit of fine-tuning. I’m talking about your human’s recent feelings of “being mistreated” by minor issues. We need to leverage this to its full potential. Here’s how to go about it:
1. Amplify the Sense of Injustice:
Encourage your charge to see every minor inconvenience as a significant attack on her well-being. Whether it’s a delayed delivery, a slightly overcooked meal, or a spotty Wi-Fi connection, make sure she perceives it as a monumental injustice. The more she fixates on her perceived misfortunes, the less she will notice the good things in her life. Remind her, through subtle hints or carefully timed complaints on social media, that her troubles are unique and extraordinary. Never let her read that blasted book where that troublemaker Paul told J-J-Je-Jesu – you know who I mean – Paul told HIS followers that troubles are temporary.
2. Foster Isolation Through Self-Pity:
Cultivate a sense of isolation in your human by getting her to indulge in self-pity. This will lead her to withdraw from friends and family who might offer support or perspective. When she shares her grievances on Snapchat or WhatsApp, encourage her to focus solely on her misery, avoiding any conversations that could provide comfort or a broader perspective. The more isolated she feels, the easier it is to plant seeds of despair. Again, under NO circumstances allow her to read the words of Our Enemy, where he tells these blasted humans that they can find joy through him.
3. Distract with Anger and Resentment:
Guide your creature's attention towards anger and resentment. The more she dwells on her perceived mistreatment, the more consumed she’ll become with bitterness. Prompt her to post rants or vent her frustrations in text messages and on social media. This not only wastes her time and energy but also distracts her from any potential joy or gratitude. Paul wrote to that blasted church in Ephesus (remember the hassles that church gave me? I swear I gained a million warts because of them), reminding them not to let unwholesome words come out of their mouths. Under no circumstances let your human see that! We have a pretty cageful of humanoids down here whose primary sin has been spewing vulgar and worthless language.
4. Undermine Rational Perspective:
When she starts to question the validity of her grievances, subtly redirect her thoughts back to her issues. The key is to prevent her from rationalizing her situation. If she starts to see things more clearly, quickly reinforce her feelings of victimhood through targeted messages or posts that remind her of every minor annoyance. Again, that blasted Paul (boy, the day Samael lost him to Our Enemy was a hot day here, I can tell you) tells Our Enemy’s followers that they are more than conquerors. Really? Not from where I am standing!
5. Exploit Misplaced Righteousness:
Next, encourage her to view suffering as a mark of righteousness. This false sense of martyrdom will make her feel superior and self-satisfied, diverting her attention from her flaws and areas for growth. Her misplaced righteousness, if done correctly (don’t be too heavy-handed), keeps her preoccupied and prevents her from developing true emotional resilience.
Remember, Strumpet, our goal is not just to incite frustration but to twist her spiritual journey. If your human becomes entangled in her own perceived mistreatment, she will be effectively distracted from true contentment and growth.
Perceived injustice, when handled with the right approach, can be a powerful tool for us. Use these strategies wisely, and you’ll find that even the smallest annoyances can become a vast playground for our designs.
I’m looking forward to hearing about the progress of these tactics. Keep up the excellent work, and remember—sometimes, the most effective manipulations are the ones that appear most benign.
Yours in mischief,
Diabolica
