In two more hours, he’ll be free.
No longer will he have to stay
In stuffy classroom every day.
No heavy books to tote around,
No waiting for a bell to sound,
No getting up before the sun,
Then grabbing breakfast on the run.
No stack of homework every night
Or working hard to get it right.
He has much to look forward to,
Has lots of things with friends to do.
No yucky lunchroom meals to eat,
Just food he likes—a daily treat.
In two more hours, he’ll be free,
As student—what joy that will be!
