Indeed, the Lord, Himself spoke highly of it.
Their trust is freely given, and it will ever grow
In greater strength with truths they learn
At parents’ knees and then at Sunday School,
To settle them upon a firm foundation.
When young folks hold unto the faith
They’ve cherished through the years,
The Lord will help them to endure
Through storms of evil teaching
That come from false instructors,
And temptations from their peers.
When married couples choose to build
A house of faith together,
Rock solid upon God’s Word,
The wisdom they receive from God
Enables them to raise a Christian family,
And their marriage not to crumble
Neath the pressures of the times.
When come the golden years of life
For those who’ve lived by faith
And obeyed the laws God gave,
They’re headed for eternal life
In heaven’s promised home.
