They came in adoration
And sang in exultation.
So do I.
As wisemen offered gifts to Him,
They came in adoration,
Along with dedication.
So do I.
As His disciples came to Him,
They came in adoration
To follow with elation.
So do I.
As little children came to Him,
They came in adoration.
They had no reservation.
Nor do I.
As all of nature comes to Him,
They come in adoration
To thank Him for creation.
So do I.
As sinners come for Him to save,
They come in adoration,
Receiving His salvation.
So have I.
As grieving persons come to Him,
They come in adoration
To seek His consolation.
So have I.
As Christians come to seek His will,
They come in adoration
Through every situation.
So do I.
As all of heaven comes to Him,
They come in adoration
To praise without cessation.
So shall I.
