Son: Daddy, who is that man with big muscles who stands taller than all the others here?
Daddy: That’s Mr. Always Speaks the Truth. He is very strong and stands firmly on both legs.
He never fails.
Son: Who is that man on crutches who is standing behind everybody over there in the corner?
Father: That’s Mr. Lie. He can only stand on one leg, and he’s always falling. He must have
sneaked in here. That’s his brother, Mr. Half Truth beside him. He doesn’t belong in here
either.
Son: Why are they taking the handcuffs off that man over there?
Father: That’s Mr. Knows the Truth. They are setting him free.
Son: Do you see those men over at the table? Why is that one laying all his cards out on it?
Father: That’s Mr. Tell All the Truth. He wants everyone to know he’s not hiding any part of it.
Son: Why are we in here? Are we related?
Father: We want to examine the Truths and imitate the best ones to show we’re a part of the
Family of Truth.
