As much as He loves His Son
When we truly soak this in
Our battle for worth has been won
But He doesn’t treat us the same
He doesn’t play the world’s game
Some people need more
Some people need less
God knows us so well
He doesn’t need to guess
what we need
But He won’t reward our greed.
People don’t have equal talents
They don’t have equal brains
But they have equal value
And we must avoid the pains
Of comparison
The job you do so well
And love to do
I would hate it so much
I’d pretend to have the flu
To avoid it
I’m not like you
You’re not like me
When we know that is true
That truth sets us free
God loves us equally
As much as He loves His Son
When we truly soak this in
Our battle for worth has been won

It is a great reminder just like the parts of the body are equal in value have a unique function. We are all part of the whole and all equally necessary in God’s Divine plan.
