A journey of romance,
Begun by a celebration
Of great significance.
You’ll follow the rules of your Captain
Who welcomes you aboard.
He’s planned for your time together
To be of one accord.
Cooperation is the key
When difficulties rise.
The Captain is the Guide for you,
With counsel, always wise.
Your journey may be hazardous
With waves that roll and toss,
But when your Captain is nearby,
You will not suffer loss.
You must not try to leave the ship.
You promised you would stay,
In spite of all the temptations
That might draw you away.
When times of trouble come to you
Or some great obstacle,
It’s then that He will stand by you.
He will not let you fall.
With all of your heart, trust your Captain.
He loves you—it is true.
When you don’t know what’s best to do,
Then He’ll take care of you.
