I am the Light of the world.”
A filigree menorah
Worn on a slender chain
Against a midnight backdrop
My witness to the Light
The Life that gives light to all mankind
I wear a silver pendant
Where it will stand out
A witness to the Light
Against my black turtleneck
The menorah
A lamp, not the light
A vessel for oil, for His Spirit
A witness to the Light
In whom there is no darkness
A symbol
A reminder
A metaphor
A cross as a pendant
Is sometimes my choice
A witness to Darkness
Overcome by the Light
“While I am in the world,
I am the Light of the world.”
A witness to the Light
Like a city on a hill
“You are the light of the world . . .”
The light of the knowledge of God’s glory
A witness to the light
A lamp placed where it can be seen
On a lampstand
Not hidden
I wear a silver pendant
Where it will stand out
A witness to the Light
Against my black turtleneck
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6
