The angels camp around me.
Though lightning flashes, thunder rolls,
I know that they surround me.
When I have fear for dangers near,
The angels camp around me.
They’re my protection God has sent.
I know that they surround me.
When Satan comes, intent to tempt,
The angels camp around me.
As they brought comfort to our Lord,
I know that they surround me.
When evil looks to bring me harm,
The angels camp around me.
No ill can happen, God’s not willed.
I know that they surround me.
When I’m afraid for loved ones’ fate,
The angels camp around them,
And when I pray God keeps them safe,
I know that they’ll surround them.
God sends them as His messengers.
The angels camp around me.
They ever do as He commands.
I know that they surround me.
On earth and while I’m heaven bound,
The angels camp around me.
In That Day, when I sing God’s praise,
I know that they’ll surround me.
