Nations don’t tremble before You anymore, Messiah. They have no idea who You Are.
When You did awesome things that Your People, Israel, were not expecting, You came down to Mount Sinai. The mountain shook at Your Presence. When You died on Golgotha’s cross, the city of Jerusalem shook at the lack of Your Presence.
Nowadays, if You shook the mountains with Your Presence, I doubt many would recognize that shaking as Your Presence. Even Christians.
Have we strayed so far from You that we no longer see You as mighty, mighty to save? Have we become that complacent? Have we forgotten Your Power? Are we so used to earthquakes and rumors of earthquakes that we forget You, Adonai, are the One who shifts the plates of the earth and causes it to quake?
From days of old, no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen the Father. Only You, Messiah, who acts on behalf of us who are waiting to see Him. You come to us who rejoice in doing righteousness, who remember You and follow after You, in Your ways.
We remember Your Power. We remember Your gifts of redemption. Behold, You were angry when we kept sinning all the time. Yet You reached out in Love and saved us.
Our righteousness, all of it, is like a filthy garment, so You planned a way to make us into Your righteousness.
Now look at this world, Messiah. All of us wither in the heat of sin. Our iniquities carry us away on the winds of perversion. The world does not call on Your Name. Just recently, when Pastor T.L. Miller stood before the Kansas State Senate and prayed for Your forgiveness for the deeds of the people, some of the legislators walked out in protest.
We need revival, Lord. This world needs evidence of Your Power, Your Presence, so they can recognize You. We need to be stirred up to take hold of You, our God. Please do not hide Your face from this world much longer, lest the whole earth be consumed by our sins. Act on our behalf and bring revival!
You are our Creator. You made us in our mothers’ wombs. For those of us who follow You, we realize we are merely clay. We need You as our Potter, to mold us into the works of Your hand. But the rest of the earth needs to see You too.
We don’t know when the War of Gog and Magog is coming. But we do know that the whole earth will see Your mighty, supernatural work of salvation for Israel. May it come soon, for the sake of the salvation of not only Your Chosen People, but for all the earth.
Do not be angry much more, Adonai. Oh, please see us. We are all Your creation. Will You stay silent? Or will You afflict us very severely? Whatever is necessary, wake us up! Oh, that we who are called by Your Name would open our bibles daily and study - not just read, but study - Your words.
Show Yourself! Please bring revival, we pray. And let it begin in our churches, in the hearts of us who proclaim You as King.
