For all of heaven and earth,
And He’s the One who is in charge
Of every soul from birth.
Created He, the universe
And early made a plan
To send His Son as sacrifice
To die for fallen man,
And then give Jesus back again
The very life He gave
Till He returns to judge the deeds
Of those He came to save.
So many questions rise today
For what is right or wrong.
The answers lie within God’s Word.
They’ve been there all along.
Each situation in our lives—
The Bible has the answer.
Although some choose to disagree,
Truth pierces like a lancer.
There’s not a single group on earth
With the authority
To trade what has been written there
For their own verity.
His Word foretells a punishment
For those in wickedness,
But blessedness is promised, too,
For lives of righteousness.
Yet even those who flout His laws
Can ask Him for forgiveness.
He will in mercy pardon them
With His own lovingkindness.
