Get up
Get dressed
Feel nothing
But numbness
Around and around
The clock goes
Where it stops
Only I know
It stops when I
Lay down in bed
Welcoming back
The Nothingness
Nothingness
Whirlpool
Never ending
Numbness
Never ending
Whirlpool
Nothingness
Where are you God!
My soul cries out
Anguish and anger
Are a welcome
Burn
But too quick
The fire goes out
No energy to start
Again
Around and around
The clock goes
Where it stops
Only I know
It stops when I
Lay down in bed
Welcoming back
The Nothingness
Nothingness
Whirlpool
Never ending
Numbness
Never ending
Whirlpool
Nothingness
Why won’t You move
The mountains for me?
Why don’t You roar?
Aren’t You the King of Kings?
Where is the strong right arm?
Thoughts float
Protests wither
The spark of faith
Evaporates
Around and around
The clock goes
Where it stops
Only I know

As I drift in endless circles
A soft downy feather appears
I’m struck by its innocent
Unconscious hope
Deafening silence breaks
As my heart expands
From the grace of
The pinion
The heavenly message is clear
I’m not alone
He is here
He's heard every cry
He’s caught each tear
A pin prick of light seeps in
A whisper of love glides near
While looking for
Dynamite
I almost missed
The Dove
