“To utilize my rays to warm the earth
And carry golden light into the darkness.
I am being what God fashioned me to be,
So even when dark clouds of gray
May dim my face’s brilliance,
I shine behind that wall of gloom
To do the work God gave for me to do.”
“It’s easy as pie,” declared the rose,
“To bring great beauty to behold
And scent the air with sweetness.
I am being what God fashioned me to be,
So even when storms cast me to the ground,
And I am trod upon by careless foot,
Remains the essence of my loveliness
To do the work God gave for me to do,”
“It’s easy as pie,” declared the man,
“To give my life to labor
And to care for family.
I am being what God fashioned me to be,
So even when come stormy trials,
And I fear that I will fail,
I pray and trust in God for strength
To do the work He gave for me to do."
