He felt no shame
in his young faith
his Beloved Saviour
would lead him
What a change
came to his demeanour
as he stood up
and demonstrated
the freedom
to speak
to believe
Stone upon stone fell
Fire and brimstone from hell
Trying their hardest to quell
the choice
the voice
You know his name
the one famous
for doubting
Thomas one of
the Twelve
He felt such shame
for asking to see
his Beloved Saviour’s
hands and side
What a change
happened in Asia
as he stood up
against idolatry and
for freedom
to speak
to believe
Stone upon stone fell
Fire and brimstone from hell
Trying their hardest to quell
the choice
the voice
We don’t know her name
a teen from
the seventies
who refused to
spit on the Bible
She felt such shame
as others betrayed
her Beloved Saviour
by denying Him
What a change
the soldiers witnessed
as she stood up
in Jesus’ promise
for freedom
to speak
to believe
Stone upon stone fell
Fire and brimstone from hell
Trying their hardest to quell
the choice
the voice
No one knows the name
of the last one
destined to offer
their
innocent blood
There will be no shame
as they publicly choose
the Beloved Saviour
and His love
What a change
when every martyred soul
stands up
together proclaiming
freedom
to speak
to believe
Then Glory Honour and Praise
By millions of voices will raise
Unto the Ancient of Days
one choice
one voice
