Designing, creating, building
Offices and homes
For the entire world to see.
Quietly preparing,
Bowing his heart
Preparing for the future harvest
Hearts and ears tuned to the gentle Voice
Leaning upon the Great Architect
Being guided by His hands,
The architect began to draw,
Teaching and guiding generations to come
Teaching his son how to be an architect
But this time one of the Spirit
Building for the Kingdom,
Rescuing souls.
Through all the tears and pain
He continued on
Watching the small church grow
As he continued to help wherever he could.
The years passed
And the architect grew old and gray
Watching proudly as his son
Carried on the race.
When he passed,
The Body mourned,
Grieving the loss of such a
Great man.
And then in one precious moment
One that all believers long for
A sweet welcome
By our Lord and King
"Welcome Home,
Good and Faithful Servant."
Such simple words that
Hold such power.
