Bittersweet material, as a reminder that the love never stops even across the avoidable gaps caused by regrettable decisions.
This made me cry. It made me cry becasue I have a similar, nearly exact story I could hsare about my now 14 1/2 year old grandson. Same situation. Same feelings in my heart as you have in yours for Elle. I can remember singing through the ache in my heart with him when he was 2 and 3 and 4 and...on and on. Well, the Lord saved his mother TO THE UTMOST two years ago. The Lord saved my grandsons mother to the utmost BEFORE He saved my own grown children! It was a dramamtic, unforgettable envounted with Him that she had. All thos eyears with my grandson, like yours with Elle will pay off in a big way. I'm crying even as I type this, becasue you are in the palce I was in 12 or 13 years ago. And the Lord was far beyond faithful. I hope this encourages you.
*Ellie I am sorry for all those typos! I couldn't see through the tears.
