TITLE: Uncle Jack, Hypochondriac | Previous Challenge Entry

a seasoned hypochondriac.
Never does a day go by
except that he will fret and cry.
He watches all the medical shows
and every ailment type he knows.
When on his leg a rash appears,
of course it is the worst he fears.
A sniffle or a throat that's sore
is something that he can't ignore.
He grabs his bottles and his pills,
imagining the direst ills.
He googles every ache and itch,
and puzzles over which is which.
He tries his best to diagnose
his many symptoms and his woes.
You'll find him at the doctor's door,
or frequenting the chemist store.
He shops the health store where he's known
for supplements for blood and bone.
Bottles line his kitchen shelf
with pills and potions for himself.
And diet books, he has the lot;
there isn't one he hasn't got.
At family gatherings it is sure
that Uncle Jack will be a bore.
He will list his aches and pains,
explain they're worse each time it rains,
tell us of his latest theory,
a health regime quite strange and dreary.
He will analyse the food,
whether healthy, whether good.
So whenever he's around
the best approach that we have found
is to nod and cluck and tut,
for Uncle Jack's a health freak nut.
