One word - "Beautiful."

God bless~
Two words - Simply beautiful!
I have two more words to add the list...Absolutely Superb!
Very compelling, it took my breath away. Wow!

Wow! So touching and dramatic! This is beautiful. Thank you.
Very creative. I loved the poetry and the meaning it conveyed.
I compliment you on your ability to write good rhyme. I do not have that ability. I write free verse. I liked the easy flow of this poem. I did, however, find the following verse a little awkward:

To bear his cross
I’m called to do
Step by step I’ll see
This journey through
But I’m only passing by

The two lines beginning with step by step seem to not read as smoothly as the others. Also, in my opinion, the first line of that verse should have "His" in caps giving Him reverence.

This was very well written and I enjoyed it immensely.

A BIG congratulations Melanie for placing 1st with this beautiful poem! Well deserved!

Just beautiful Melanie. The last verse - particularly wonderful. Great depth and insight - from Simon of Cyrene's viewpoint. A very well deserved win - many congratulations
Congratulations on another well deserved win! This poem flowed beautifully, an eloquent rendition of the plight of Simon of Cyrene.
Wow. I love this piece. Congratulations on your win! Many blessings to you.
Congratulations on your well deserved first place win! Just an awesome poem!! Simon of Cyrene certainly was put in a predicament…but wow, one that turned out to be the blessing of his life. You tell it all so well! Applause! Terrific job!
A really good poem. Captures the feel of the scene well. Well done!
