In the Bible, Alpha, the first letter of the Greek alphabet, symbolizes beginnings, origins, and Divine creation. The Beginning and Creator. Alpha represents the starting point of existence, as The Blble tells us. We identify The Godhead as The Creator and source of all life.
As we know, in the begining, Adam and Eve were placed in the beautiful garden to look after it and enjoy it. Unfortunately, everything changed and became tainted when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit offered to them by the evil one. Innocence was lost, and enslavement to sin began for all.
Humanity became enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. To set us free, a Perfect Sacrifice was needed.
The solution, according to Paul; ‘..... when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to ‘redeem’ those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God’.
{Galatians 4:3-7}.
Beginning #2
Redemption was the doorway to us being set free, and refers to humanity’s deliverance from the bondage of sin, death, and God's wrath through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, His Perfect sinless Son. It is fundamentally viewed as a ransom paid, freeing believers to enjoy forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life. He reversed the curse and set us free from the dominion of sin, the curse of the law ,and made us sons of God; heirs according to God’s promise. {Galatians 3:23-29}
“ The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in Him…” {Colossians 1:15-19}.
So, a perfect sacrifice was and is Jesus, “…..he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins”. {Colossians 1:13}.
End #1
Omega is the final letter of the Greek alphabet, symbolizing the end of time as we know it, and the eternal nature of the Creator. The book of Revelation relates in symbolic language what the future, ‘the end’ will be, on earth and in heaven, and the demise of the evil one and the unsaved. John describes many spiritual wars in vivid terms.
In the final chapter, his words give us great hope -“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”
So finally, the end is a time filled with hope, love, peace, and eternal joy as we live with God. Sin is gone forever. The Father is creating A NEW THING. {Revelation 21:3-5}
