“What a beautiful garden? Who planted it? No human hand did this!!”
"For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, ….."- so there was no chaos or disorder there. God planted this perfect garden. Nothing clashed. It inspired peace.
Manmade gardens that humans plant in our society tend to be chaotic. Weeds would invade, and storms would destroy.
A garden lacking in beauty and harmony would benefit from the hands of an expert horticulturist. At the deep spiritual level, earth as a garden is not made up of flowers, and it’s full of people.
People are all different in race,colour,looks and personalities, and that is how God made us.Thats not meant to be confusing. God made us to love each other despite what we look like or sound like. In His eyes, the varieties are all beautiful, but the enemy sowed seeds of hate and war in many hearts.
“The most notable event of confusion in the Old Testament is the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1–9). When humanity arrogantly attempted to build a tower to reach the heavens, God intervened by fracturing their single, unified language into many. This caused widespread confusion and scattered people across the earth, halting their unified rebellion”. Here we see one of the primary examples of confusion. The origin was human pride, which led to God’s anger and His edict of widespread confusion and the scattering of mankind.
Today and for many centuries, there have been wars and disparities, which originate from hate, pride, and envy in the hearts of leaders and kings, who invade other countries and kill people, creating chaos and confusion. This can also happen in our neighborhood or in our workplace, or even in church, where people can be envious, ungodly, unkind, and deliberately cause disruptions. "For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work” {James 3:16}.
If we choose to do what Christ said, then there will be peace on earth. Yes, Jesus said: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ {Matthew 22:37-39}
