Using his ribs, made of dust, God then formed his beautiful female lifemate, Eve.
She would bear his children and be the mother-womb of all people.
Dust is so strong, and yet it’s fragile, and mortal.
All nature is made of dust and will return to dust.
After death, flesh decays like trees, and dust is reborn.
Job’s sitting in dust, and... he’s repenting! {Job 42:6}
A man of such faith in God, yet full of sores, he sat in dust for many years,
until God healed him and lifted him up...
Daniel set his face toward the Lord God to plead by prayer and supplications,
with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes for Israel.
The angel Gabriel responded with an incredible Messianic prophecy {Daniel 9}
Jesus tells his disciples to "shake the dust off your feet" as a testimony.
The act symbolizes complete separation from the people who rejected them..
and the judgment they will face {Matthew 10}
Dust seems an unmovable annoyance in my home.
I clean and clean, blow it away or vacuum it away; yet it returns.
So I have to keep at it, like so many others do.
When I place dusted sugar on my angel cake,
The degree of deliciousness increases as I gobble more than I should.
So the wise thing to do for my waistline, …is to stop!!
Dust positively symbolises humility, repentance, yet…
The association with death and decay is a recurring theme,
emphasizing the certainty of life's end in this world.
In heaven, there is no dust. We shall all be changed.
For flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God;
In a moment, we’ll be immortal. {1 Corinthians 15}

I really like this thought about that dust symbolisms humanity and repentance and all the examples you gave from the Bible.
