And emptied himself of all but love,
No more Godhead; just nothing, but a man
He did it for a thirty-year time span.
The throne He left was holy, beautiful, and pure
Now the earth beneath his feet was dirty manure
The angelic beings who serve him are sinless
Here, the humans he lived with were a mess.
As One of The Supreme Godhead of Three
He obeyed and lived among sinners, so he could die for you and me.
Such was the price; He was the sacrifice, and he had to pay the fee
His Father needed to set his people free.
Messiah’s mission was to destroy the devil’s plan
To bleed for Adam’s race by the sacrifice of a perfect man.
Whose love was so infinite and His grace so free
He emptied himself of allll but love, for you and me.
Judas, his so-called friend, betrayed him for mere coins
He was beaten, flogged, and pierced by a crown of thorns
Beaten and bleeding, all his limbs penetrated by nails
He hung on the cross, all could see and mock him;... so he failed!?
Then it was finished!!!! He’s dead and was buried.
His work was completed, then the tomb was freed
Now, He’s walking into rooms and eating with his friends!!
Halleujah!! The dominion of sin and death truly did end!
Now by faith and The Word, we’re born again children of The Lord
So "heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, and cast out demons” was His accord.
Gentiles, now fellow heirs with Israel, members of His body, do share in God's promises;
“God raised believers up with Christ and seated them with him in "heavenly realms, In Christ.
