It was a bull snake, non poisenous, but it hurt..
“Ahhh” she screamed out loud. As she fell, she saw it slithering away.
“Mom,” she screamed. “Snake! Mummy, it bit me!”
Out marched Mom with the machete that she kept for such emergencies. She hurled herself in the direction of Suzzane’s cry just in time to whack the snake into two pieces, yelling “Die! Die!”, as its two parts squirled uselessly across the yard; dead.
In the early years of ‘earth kingdom’ there was also a snake. In this kingdom, thousands of years ago, in a most beautiful perfect garden, a wicked snake invaded. He crawled around, doing evil.
He had a cruel plan, which was to demolish and curse God’s creations by tampering with the parents of all humans; God’s originals. He bit them with a lie. He targeted gullible Eve. The ‘lie-bite’ was about a forbidden fruit that God had told them not to touch. {Genesis 3:1-6}.
The unbelievably cruel result of Adam and Eve’s compliance was the fall of all mankind. Thereafter, all humans became slaves to the dominion of sin. Look around at all the evil in the world’s nations, races, kingdoms and peoples; these are the fruits or the outsprouts of Adam and Eve’s compliance. Until Jehovah God, The Father, marched out with his ‘machete’. His Machete was His Son, The Perfect Sinless human Son who could not be bitten; he would not submit to the temptations offered by the serpent. {Matthew 4:1-11}.
When Jesus submitted to His Father’s will and came to earth as a human, He became The Perfect Sacrifice for the Ransom for us all, and He did it as a sinless man. He made A Way; He became The Way back to God. Like Suzanne’s mother, He too has a machete which is a Sword; the Sword of The Holy Spirit.
All who believe in Jesus have been given His Holy Spirit.
Suzanne’s mother destroyed the snake’s power. God’s Son destroyed Satan’s power over His created ones who believe in Him.
