Once I started the program, I became more health conscious. I started to manage my diet and my mental attitude. As I began brisk walking, I noticed a change in my breathing as I walked up the stairs. Changes also became obvious in my thinking, and I began to speak more positively about myself. By the end of the program, I was a different person.
I met people from all walks of life, and we cheered each other on to a healthy lifestyle. It was a learning experience for me. After the program, I tried to continue brisk walking, but life became too busy having to take care of my husband as he was ill, so I lapsed in my walking and gained weight in the midsection.
Over a year ago, I found on TV a walk-at-home program to reduce the middle section, the lower belly fat. It’s a great program, and I am seeing the results of fast walking; I am walking it off and continuing to manage what I eat and drink. My clothes fit me better. I am wearing clothes that I have had for more than ten years. I have more energy and can dance like Miriam in the Bible, Exodus 15:20 KJV, praising the Lord for His goodness and mercy.
Thanks for “brisk walking.” It doesn’t only strengthen you physically but also mentally. It gives me the energy to create the right atmosphere to worship the Lord during my day and in church.
