The world is falling apart as perversion spreads its ugly wings to control us. However, the Bible tells us in John 3:16 (NKJV), "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Therefore, there is hope for redemption for everyone.
As Christians, we have the greatest weapon, and that is prayer. I am reminded of Abraham and his nephew Lot in Genesis18:31-33 (NKJV). Abraham's nephew was living in Sodom, and before the destruction of Sodom, Abraham interceded for Lot's salvation, and God answered his prayer. We are living in modern Sodom, and we, too, have the same power of intercession to intercede for our loved ones, our children, and children's children, and as many as the Lord God lay upon our hearts before God destroys this Sodom.
God is rich in mercy. The scripture tells us in 2 Peter 3:9 (NKJV). "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." The Bible also tells us in James 5:16 that "…The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (NKJV). It means that the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces incredible results.
We must use our weapon of prayer to pull down the enemy's strongholds in the lives of those Christ died for.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (NKJV).
