Recent experiences in the natural reminded me of how life can go when we do not do our plugin. There was a hurricane and we lost power for ten days. Imagine the Christian life without power! It will be dark. Just so we had no electricity to charge our phones, keep our refrigerator cold or have lights in our homes.
“There was no power!!”
Alternate means were available, like the noisy gas-powered generator. The generator required personal management and constant refuelling.
As Christians, if we choose not to access the power of God in our daily lives, we slide into the wrong things. Our lives become chaotic and peace goes away. We find it easy to commit sin through thought, words and deeds.
To succeed in our daily walk, we must remain IN Him. It is comforting to know that Jesus loves us so much that He is constantly interceding for us. ‘Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us’ {Romans 8:34, 24}. The Holy Spirit indwells us and interceeds; so what a way to stay connected! He is with us. The three prongs of our Divine plug is necessary in these days of global turmoil.
Evidence of sin can be seen nationally and globally in the ugly ungodly laws that are being passed in nations that legalise abortion, homosexuality and brainwashing of children to create gender confusion. In some places, powerful nations are attacking their less powerful neighbours and killing and destroying them. These actions represent the lives and minds of those who are unplugged from The Truth of God.
Children of God, we must remain plugged in, not only daily, but constantly.
