Sometimes we are prepared for the roads of travel that come our way and at other times we are not. We may feel alone during these times. We forget that during the darkest of times that we are never truly alone. Jesus is always with us.
No matter what journey of life you may be in He is always by your side. Just speak His name and He will answer you.
Each road we are on is a road He has already traveled. He has cleared the way. Sometimes there will be debris for us to untangle, but that is okay. It helps us to keep our eyes on the One at the end of the destination.
Not every road can be easygoing and nor should it be. We would have no reason to search out God and seek His insight if it was a ‘piece of cake’.
A little mystery with God is good. It gets our brain working and can motivate us to hunger more for His truths.
The biggest road anyone of us will ever take is the one where we find or found redemption. The problem is too many take the wide road rather than the narrow one.
“13Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Matthew 7:13,14 NIV)
