Topic: KINDNESS (11/04/21)
Acts 9:36, “Now in Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha (which in Greek is called Dorcas); this woman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charity, which she continually did.” (NASB)

I may not have been feeling 100%, but as I ran my errands I was determined not to let my negativity flow out to others.

I smiled, said hello, and even told others to have a pleasant day. All of a sudden I realized that my own mood had changed! Just like that I was in better spirits. WOW! God, you are so awesome! By doing the opposite of how I actually felt, I not only helped others, but myself in the process.

We just never know how one little word or smile may change another’s perspective or even your own.

There is a saying about ‘paying it forward’. Now if Jesus gave His All for me then I certainly can go the extra mile for others.

I was only running errands and my whole attitude changed because I willingly allowed my inner man, spirit, rule rather than my ego/self.

This is a concept that I will have to constantly put into the forefront for my mind because there are always going to be days where I may not be on an even keel, but with the Lord’s strength my outlook towards others will be one of respect.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22 & 23 NASB)

You have some good ideas here, and they're well expressed. But you've used only about a third of what the word limit allows. This means that we haven't been able to enjoy seeeing where those ideas could take us.

Encouraging article- which is a kindness.
I see where you haven't used your word count but I sometimes wonder if there is the occasional topic where an author has found no spark of inspiration other than sitting with the reader and commenting, ‘we are children of the King- isn’t it obvious?’.
If that's a point - kudos to your participation and for thinking it over with your fellow writers 🖐️
