Topic: TRAIL (05/13/21)
A trail is a path, track, or unpaved lane or road. In this journey, the road was long and winding. Strong feet in strong shoes were required. The journey was arduous.
It began with Jacob, the father of a rebellious people who disobeyed and did not keep God's covenant. He delivered them from slavery in Egypt and through the wilderness. He provided a wise leader named Moses for the journey.
Despite the many wonders He performed for them along the way - by dividing the Red Sea, providing manna food, water from a rock, clouds by day, and fire by night they continued to rebel.
The trail to freedom that should have taken weeks instead took forty years. Many tears and broken promises marked it.

Two thousand years ago, the road changed. Life's journey continued except that God provided a different leader. His name was Jesus and God reached out from the Jews to the Gentiles across the world. Their trail was marked remarkably by a Cross, Resurrection, and Ascension.
Yes, God's Only Son came down! No, not Moses!
He would guide man through this trail. He was the Way. Of course, there were troubles such as diseases, human pride, selfishness, sin, and the enemy. Thankfully, God still performs wonders today but personal faith is required for this journey. Our food is The Word, not manna, rock water, or tasty birds.

This trail will one day end in eternity. The gateway to eternity is death.

The trail will end in one of two places; hell or heaven. The choice is yours. Accept and receive Jesus today or exist in eternal torment after death. Taking the right trail leads you to Heaven where you will live forever with God; free from sickness, pain, sorrow, death and filled with such joy!

I enjoyed this entry very much. I did find it distracting though in that there were a lot of paragraphs that had no space between them. Other than that, I found your entry very well wriwtten.
