Kitty is looking forward to that day when they will be made one.
The spectacular day of celebration and ceremonies loom.
Ready are two hearts to become one in body and soul.
Her handsome John will be hers and she his, as the Word says.
Maybe they’ll have offspring and live till they are old!
Instead of lonely single years, they will love, serve and pray together.
With God’s help, they can reach the lost, maybe travel the world
and teach their own children as father and mother.
Dreamingly, she and her bridesmaids prepare for that day.
Mom and Pop are excited but tired with all the preparation.
The celebration feast promises to be romantic, yet nothing like The Word says.
Eternity promises that Jesus has a radiant bride.
She, in joyful preparation, is to marry her Lord; The Lamb.
Celebrations! Shouts of joy! She's beautiful! He on a white horse will ride!

For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear. I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, ……
and His name is the Word of God.
