From the mountains to the valleys and the oceans and the fields;
The work of His handiwork is all around me to see.
I cannot deny the beauty that I see nor can I say it was by chance that it is here.
It did not just randomly appear, but each thread of the tapestry was intrinsically placed.
His handiwork is awesome and it doesn’t just end with the sun and the moon that give us light or the stars in the sky that are seen at night.
I am also His handiwork. He knew me while I was still in my mother’s womb. He hand picked me for my earthly parents for which I am so grateful. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” (Psalm 139:13 NIV)
When I accepted the Son, Yeshua/Jesus, as my Messiah I have even become a new vessel. Yes, more of Your handiwork. You have taken this broken vessel and molded it together and made me brand new. You are the sculptor and I am the clay. “But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” (Isaiah 64:8 ESV)
It is like a jigsaw puzzle that you take each piece and place it where it belongs. Thank You Lord for caring for me so much and surrounding me with such beauty.
I pray that all of you who read this that you will see how much God cares for you and the love He has for you. He gave His son as a sacrifice taking upon himself our sin. He paid our debt. This is a debt we cannot repay. When Jesus was on the cross and with his very last breath he said “ it is finished.” He paid the price for you and me. Just believe in this truth and experience His awesomeness.
