It is moist, blood and nutrition filled.
Safe and attached by a strong cord through which flows rich life as growth slowly happens. Beginning as small cells woven together by genetics, now there is a form slowly emerging with human biological elements of life. A body with a head, arms, organs and legs contained in the skin. The process cannot be hurried. The product though depends on the good health of the dwelling place in which lies this precious treasure. Hearts and hopes watch and wait as increase and growth in girth happens. The ideal is nine months. It's a long nine-month wait of time ordained since creation.
A human female womb is the perfect setting for the nestling and feeding of a baby as designed by our Creator.
A mother-to-be waits. She is expectant. She cannot hurry this time during which her offspring feeds on her oxygen-rich blood, moves limbs in its safe aquatic place and grows in preparation for what must be. Birth is the finale of this waiting time.
Yes, it is painful as her prepared body slowly expels her treasure over hours or days. Entry into the world is a time full of activity that is unstoppable.
Once the waiting is over, the strong cord is severed, yet the cord of love lingers on and cannot be severed. Years of loving and more waiting as a mother's young grow from babyhood to childhood into adulthood. From the time of slow hiddenness to one of progressive visualisation.
Birthing is a passage; an example to me of what my God Yahweh can do.
”In the beginning, God..” He designed the waiting and the birthing. He Himself birthed a Kingdom through Jesus and He waits. Yes, He waits for His children to reach out to him and grow into who he created us to be. {Genesis 1:1}
Like seeds in the dark soil growing in infinite stages so do children of God. We emerge into His Light and the process involves periods of waiting and birthing as He has decreed; 'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you;' {Romans 8:29}
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
{Ephesians 2:10}
Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you,
And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him {Isaiah 30:18}
