In times of deep turmoil when I thought that I would never know peace again. I recalled times in my life when all was happily tranquil and peaceful. When the Lord who was my shepherd made me lie down in green pastures and restored my soul.

Truthfully, amid all that peace, there was unbearable turmoil all around, but He protected me. I also believed that My God removed the pain from my memory banks. He uploaded it away into a place of forgetfulness, so instead I now have peace as a deep reality of a place to go, as he filled me with joy and hope.

Life’s valleys of shadows and death delivered hardships to all of us, but amid them, the Lord God downloaded His beautiful peace and tranquility. So, instead of focusing on the memories of past miseries of the less-than-perfect times, forgot them. May they no longer cause pain.

I looked up at the blue skies and watched the many cloud types as they move east. I saw His hand in that. Father's promises left a sweet fragrance and my soul was nourished. I cannot forget that I was His child and that He took me through the wilderness that I thought was never ending.
“He leads me beside still waters”

In this peaceful place I could hear birdsong, rustling leaves, breezes blowing, the gentle sound of a flowing river and felt a deep stillness in His Presence where clatter, chatter, clamor and demands were silenced. My focus was on Him. His glory filled my soul as I focused on His Word and His Promises.

Once again I must say `all is well’. I chose to remember that He loved me and that He never left me.
Emmanuel; God was with me. The Word, praise and worship took me there.

{Psalm 23: 1- 4 ESV}
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
