In the Silence
of a misty Year of Moments Jesus rubbed His chin and looked across the beaver dam. The intricate weaving of poplar limbs secured the strength needed to build this fine piece of outdoor architecture. It now held back a large volume of pond-water.
Little fish jumped eagerly from the surface. Playing tag was a delightful pastime for these slippery creatures.
A beaver absorbed the scene as he rested from a period of attaching building material. The bulky animal continued to stare, curious at the figure before him. Jesus exuded a relaxing scent that was quite pleasant to quivering nostrils. And so, the young animal was not afraid.

Jesus rose to His feet, adding a satisfied stretch.
A dappled fawn approached and nuzzled against the Holy One – Master of the Land. Birds began to gather in great numbers, and ascending calls from a family of loons led the symphony. A chorus of adulation embraced the wind, heralding the King of All.
And Jesus smiled.
