Back in the days of youthful activities jigsaw puzzles were an ever popular project. From pieces falling and being chewed by toddlers or K9s, to those massive 1000piece plus pictures reclining under plastic sheets for the months it took to complete them, even with the help of enthusiastic visitors.
We had a Pastor friend, also an addict, who was given a double sided brainteaser with the same picture back and front only juxtaposed. That took some solving.
As an ex-police officer I have always loved a good mystery, so being given a puzzle with no picture to copy, but only a story-line text to solve I was kept busy for several weeks.
Such is the story of our lives. Each circumstance is a piece that should fit perfectly into place. It is no good trying to force them into where we think may be a better position, or curling the edges slightly, for that can cause problems in God’s perfect plan.
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us; For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
I don’t know what lies around the corner on the path the Lord has laid before me, but I trust that He will fit each piece perfectly in place as I submit to His guidance. He hasn’t finished with me yet, (Philippians 1:6) and ‘For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]. (Corinthians 13:12) ((Amplified)
I don’t need a picture, for to Him I am not a mystery!
