We should read the Bible, God's Word, in the New Testament as Epistle of Paul written to the Romans, which is considered his greatest work. Paul tells us that the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ is more than just spreading the Gospel to the sinful world; but also living a Christian life--a life of righteousness. We are told in Romans 3:23-24 " For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."
After we are saved our life should change as we spread the Gospel. Paul tells us in Romans 1:16, " For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also the Greek." Romans 14:7-8. " For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's."
At times I have found myself being critical of other Christians but then I remember they will answer to the Lord and I am told not to judge others. The Bible tells us to receive fellow Christians as brothers in Christ and not to judge them. Romans 14:1 "Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. " Verses 10 and 11, " But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God."
Our gracious and loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ knows what we do and we should serve Him according to the abilities, that he has given us. Continuous prayer on our lips with praise to our Lord brings untold blessings. Remember, we receive nothing on our own but everything is a blessing from the Lord.
