Just lower than the red,
Sits the hybrid color orange,
Aloof from all the rest.
After orange is the yellow,
A color weak and bland,
Yet when mingled with the red head,
Becomes the orange grand.
In relation to the others,
The orange will not mix,
Green and blue just sludge the color,
To need an artist's fix.
Nothing is too much for orange,
Although the violet hue,
Tries the orange to the limit,
And makes him feel quite blue.
Bow, the heaven's crowning glory,
Becomes earth's color wheel;
Riding high above the yellow,
Is stamped God's orange seal.
Orange filtered down from heaven,
And dwelt among the trees,
Bringing forth the scrumptious orange,
To be a special treat.
When it's told from God's own corner,
The story of a hue,
Orange has its place in owning,
Gods covenant per se.
Collared round by crimson clothing,
And swathed from head to toe,
Orange caps its occupation,
And warms up indigo.
Orange too, is far the stronger,
Than others in the bow,
Yet in spite a feeble struggle,
Demotes them down below.
Looking back to God's dilemma,
Solved only by the flood,
An Artist gave a color sign,
And made the orange good.
Over time the bow lost favor,
Though pretty on the eye,
Orange and the colors faded -
A truth lost from the sky.
Resting now in firmament's span,
All colors from the sun,
Red and yellow, green and blue - then,
Violet hue and orange.
Savior's covenant now calling,
To orange and his band,
Shout and make a new pronouncement:
'A Testament now stands'.
