My Heaven on earth
It must be
It has to be
Where else can I find warm emerald waters in which to swim
Dive for coral that comes in a rainbow of colors
Or stroll through huge fields of golden sunflowers?
It’s my Heaven on earth
It’s where I can
Spend lazy afternoons soaking up the sun by suspended lagoons
Bushwalk through rainforests just to listen to its exotic bird songs
And soak my weary body in crystal-clear rock pools!
It’s my Heaven on earth
It has breathtaking panoramic views from majestic multicolored cliffs
And sensational sunsets
That spread out for miles on beaches with white silica sand.
It’s my Heaven on earth
It’s where I can horse back ride on golden sands
Spot koalas, and kangaroos with a joey or two
Then sail next to humpback whales with their calves all on the same day.
It’s my Heaven on earth
It will have to do
For it’s not yet my time
Until then
I’ve found it
Australia…
