Topic: Fearful (08/23/07)
There is not a lot of Time left in this life to do all of the things I must do before I clock out. Time is the killer here more than death. Death is the end result, but Time drags us kicking and screaming more quickly toward life’s abyss, as it marches on relentlessly without regard for our feelings or thoughts. I have to break out of this Space I am in.

My world is just too small. I could wait here for the inevitable, or I could do some shoving and pushing to get beyond my limited boundaries. New territory is just beyond my backyard of circumstances and emotions.

There is more to life than my sepia colored world I find myself in. That somewhere beyond my own personal rainbow is another world – one I must explore. Why wait here and die, when I just might find new life just over the next hilltop.

So I wrote a letter and sent it out. I got the note back with a favorable response. It simply said come join us in our world. So I will get up from my dying bed and I will find new life, experience real living, and venture into uncharted territories.

This will be a new adventure, but one I was born for - and one I am fully up to. So throwing off the trappings of Time and leaving this dead Space behind, I will conquer new worlds and find my meaning for life and living in this newer, broader place.

Interesting metaphor, but very abstract...I think I get it. You had lots more words; I think I'd need them to be sure I understand this entry. The writing is very good.

In the beginning I didn't see the Christian outlook, but the end revealed much more. Even as Christians we are trapped in our humanity until that time as Paul says we throw off the old tent. Interesting and different.

Nothing "fearful" about this dream of writing letters to other worlds, and then receiving a "welcome" to come join them. Perhaps I'm missing something written between the lines, OR a few marbles missing between my ears. But interesting entry... very intriguingly interesting. Super Title!
