A very creative story, but I never had the impression that the followers of Jesus were at peace with His death. I've always thought they didn't wholly understand; and thus it seemed unrealistic to me, their demeanor of peaceful acceptance...but then that's only one person's opinion. But the story itself was nicely told, a job well done.
This is well written. I loved the phrase, "abyss of soul." I, too, wonder about Jesus' followers not feeling despair and crucifixion.
Scripture indicates that the disciples were in despair; so much so that they returned to their nets. At any rate, I enjoyed this read.
Could this be the first convert to Christianity? What a powerful message is contained in these words! Hope found at the foot of a blood-stained cross.
Thank you for sharing.

God bless,
