I am sitting here and just pondering on the verse from Psalm 34:8 that says, “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!” (ESV) Have you ever truly considered it? I think that as a believer it hasn’t truly crossed my mind, but when I step back and place myself in the shoes of an unbeliever that must seem crazy. What do they mean by that statement? How can I possibly taste Jesus?

Obviously, it does not mean this literally. Basically, it is saying, not to take the word of a person at face value. Seek for yourself and experience what others have already found. When you seek Him you will find Him as long as your heart is truly open.

Some may need healing, others comfort and God is that and so much more. He will become your refuge and will show love and grace in the most difficult of situations. What is it that you have been searching for or desiring?

God will meet you right where you are at. He doesn't care if you are rich or poor, sick or healthy. He doesn’t even care if you are filthy. He loves you. It is that simple. He stretches out His arms to all who want to enter His embrace.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33 ESV)

“And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Luke 11:9 ESV)

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20 ESV)
