GOD Is our Shelter and Strength, always Ready to help in times of trouble.
So we will not be afraid, even if the earth is shaken and mountains fall into the ocean depths;
even if the seas roar and rage, and the hills are shaken by the violence.
There is a river that brings joy to the City of GOD, to the Sacred House of the Most High.
GOD Is in that City, and It will never be destroyed; at early dawn He will come to Its aid.
Nations are terrified, kingdoms are shaken;
GOD Thunders, and the earth dissolves
The LORD Almighty Is with us;
The GOD of Jacob Is our Refuge.
Come and see what the LORD has done. See what amazing things He has done on earth.
He stops wars all over the world; He breaks bows, destroys spears and sets shields on fire.
“Stop fighting,” He says, “and know that I Am GOD,
Supreme among the nations,
Supreme over the world.”
The LORD Almighty Is with us;
The GOD of Jacob Is our Refuge. (Psalm 46:1-11)(Good News Version)

JESUS – my Strong Tower
Such powerful words from GOD’S Word. The Holy Spirit will reveal CHRIST to us when we pray in JESUS’ Name. Certainly GOD Is our Tower. Amen! He Is our Rock and our Stronghold. When times of trouble arise, we can take refuge in our GOD, our Tower. Our GOD Is our Fortress.
In BIBLE times, the number of forts and fortresses determined the strength of a city. Cities had strong walls around them. Jericho had the one of the strongest walls. But when the Israelites prayed to GOD, a Wall stronger than the wall of Jericho, the latter came crashing down. Our strength depends on the depth of our relationship with GOD, His Son JESUS CHRIST and the Holy Spirit. When we pray in JESUS’ Name with faith, we can be sure that GOD will answer our prayers.
Towering He stands
Owner of the Universe and beyond, Our Creator
Word He spoke; For us He became flesh
Everlasting Father, Our Dearest LORD
Riding on the clouds He comes
Our Blessed Tower
To this earth JESUS came
Our Saviour
With Heavenly Might and Power
Ending forever the power of death
Rising again to Eternity
Our Glorious Tower
Today He stands at the right-hand side of GOD
Our Intercessor
While on earth, He promised
Eternal life to those who believe
Redemption and freedom from sin
Our Strong Tower
That In JESUS’ Name
Our heart’s desire
Whatever, in faith, from our Father
Earnestly we seek, is ours to Receive and Remember
Our Ever Mighty and Powerful Tower
In JESUS’ Name
Amen!
