Silently enter into His Secret Place. Longed for seclusion to dwell in the shadow of God’s wing is here. A safe shadow is here. It is the shadow of the most real thing in Creation. Creep closer. Remain there. Quietly focus all thoughts on Him and His attributes. Let him hold you close to his gentle heart. Let all resistance melt away as dimly a melody comes. It is music heralding a peace so profound. See that Yahweh's wings over you are a picture of love’s sheltering presence. {Psalm 91:1-2}

In His Words are promises. Spoken and sung in songs of praise and worship. Meditate on those truths about his love, his goodness and Almighty power that can be found. Mentally dwell on them. Psalmists wrote many words. "My soul finds rest in God alone" {Psalm 62:1}. So, rest there, child of God through faith. Do not allow the world's distractions to enter in this secret place. Be thankful as you "...let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." {Col 3:15-16 ESV}

Be naked before Him. Bare your soul. Be humble. Know that he knows all your thoughts and secrets. Place all your trust in Him. Give the Holy Spirit time to teach you. Let songs of praise out and let his glory in, as he restores your tired soul. The world makes demands so allow Yahweh the Shepherd to minister to you; "In grassy pastures he makes me lie down; by quiet waters, he leads me." {Psalm 23 LEB}.

God places 'songs in the night' in the mouth of a distressed unhappy David to comfort him {Psalm 40:3}. Additionally, He is the song that many sing as they praise Him for his might works {Psalm 150:2-4}. In the Old Testament, songs have been used as weapons of warfare. King Jehosophat "appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth forever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mt. Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten." {2 Chronicles 20:21-22}.
Futuristically, music and songs will be heard in heaven too. {Revelation 15:3}
Keep in mind that worship leads to or is accompanied by praise and often begins with songs that are filled with golden words that we send to Him.
