Topic: Huh? (01/21/10)
Lord, I ain’t got much to say tonight but I know you’ll listen to my musings. Thank you Lord for being here with me. Don’t reckon I’d make it without you, huh?

I sure do want to ask you for a little bit of help. See here, Lord, I got so many things to be thankful for. Three little ones, one God following husband, and a house to boot. My youngins’ have clothes and food and they even got their own rooms. Still I ain’t quite content. Strange, huh?

See deep down inside of me there’s a rumbling and a roaring. I know those sounds. They sure do say I’m hungry. Now for dinner we had fried chicken cooked like my momma taught me and a heapful of potatoes. Still I got that aching for more. Mighty peculiar, huh?

My husband, now Lord, he’s a right smart man. He says that if you’re feeling kind of unsetled you should turn it over to Jesus. Yeah, I’m sure you get a kick out of every time he starts singing that song. His voice is kind of funny but I don’t mind one bit. Kind of weird, huh?

Well, any-whoo, that’s why I’m sitting out here in the middle of the night. I just couldn’t sleep for all the wondering I’ve been doing. To get right down to it I think my longing must be for you. See I know you care for me ever so much. So I figure you deserve to have a better place in my life. Can you give some help so I can get to know you more every day? I know I can never know you full-like, but more today than yesterday would be right nice. So, what do you say Lord, huh?

Ahh, what a story. I liked the picture of the MC you painted and I was curious to see what she was going to muse about. Good thoughts. Thanks for sharing!
