Topic: Happy (07/12/07)
Happy. He was one of my friends throughout elementary school. My mother packed my lunch for me every day. It consisted of egg salad sandwiches and fruit punch to drink. To the rest of the kids, I was an outcast. Not really brillant or popular, I kept to myself alot. Feeling the rejection from the other kids was where I met Happy and his friends. Ace, Christie, and Sandy were some of my best friends. We never actually played together, but I met with them throughout the pages of my P.A.C.E.S. I often wished that I could graduated 12th grade there so that I could see what happened to Ace, Happy and Pudge. They were some of my best friends. I never got my wish, but there are not nights that I do not dream about Highland City and all it's residents. The school that I went to my elementary years is now closed, but my imagination is open and thriving. I thank God for the A.C.E. curriculum. Without it who knows where I'd be.

I don't know what PACES and ACE are. Some dialogue would have livened up the article, but there is a good message here. Thanks for writing.
