The lifestyle of worship makes the
ordinary extraordinary, the mundane
majestic and the simple wondrous. It
can be felt in the cracked and
creviced hand of a great grandmother
caressing and praying for the tiny and
tender hand of her future, wrapped in
blankets of hope & heritage, love &
legacy. It can be heard in the last
moments of a life lingering to repent
for words that have hurt or repeat
words that have healed, seeking the
place of grace that rights all wrongs
and where self-importance is replaced
with selflessness. Worship can be seen
through the eyes of the blind that are
full of marvel at his kindness and
mercy, who can see Him in colors that
are unimaginable, whose sight is set
upon Him and whose visions are not of
this world. The sweet aroma of
worship wafts into the busy-ness of
our lives reminding us to bow our
heads, our hearts and our will to Him.
Worship is tasted through the daily
ingestion of His word, satiating
unnamed hungers and changing us from
the inside out. Worship envelops all
around and encamps within, saturating
all that it comes into contact with.
It is the substance from which praise
is birthed, thanksgiving flows and
truth emerges. Worship sings and
worship dances. Worship walks and
worship runs. Worship stands and
worship bows. Worship hold it’s head
high in times of adversity and lowers
it’s head with humility extending
undeserved graciousness. It delights
in right and reproaches wrong with
unashamed boldness Worship, the
uninhibited devotion of hearts who
have encountered Love in it’s purest
form and who have been transformed
Worship is the compass that directs
our paths to heaven. Worship incites
every thing on earth encoded with His
DNA to cry out in utter admiration to
the most High, the Creator who made
everything out of nothing, and
someone’s out of no ones. Worship,
the universal language of the body of
Christ, surpassing all racial and
denominational boundaries and uniting
in holy harmony the innate desire of
all creation to worship the Lord.
Come; let us worship the Lord with
intentional purpose and on purpose
each moment of our day.
