If I were confused, would I even be aware of it?
Maybe not...
The reason people think and act as they do, is because they are convinced somehow, that they are right.
And yet, they could be absolutely “Rong” - (with Capitol “R”)!
When I look at the world as-is, it seems to me, that judgment is turned away backwards (Isaiah 59:14 KJV).
Even in some Churches.
Yet the Bible says that God didn’t author confusion.
That the devil is a roaring lion seeking to devour me and my faith.
It also says that the heart is deceitfully wicked. Jeremiah 17:9
That is why it is so important to guard our hearts with all diligence. For out of the heart flows all of the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23 KJV
Just following that verse alone could take care of most of my confusion,
At the same time, the Lord promises wisdom and guidance to those who walk humbly before Him.
Wisdom is crying out in the streets. Proverbs 1:20 KJV
My steps are ordered by Him. Psalm 37:23 BSB
And, that His Word is a “lamp unto my feet.” Psalm 119:105 KJV
This is the verse brings an image to my mind:
I see myself walking on the darkest, scariest path imaginable. And I have no idea where I am going. Or, where I can safely step. Or how to get out of danger.
I turn on my lamp. (Thank God that I have oil in my Lamp! I always make sure to keep it full.) Matthew 25:4 KJV
But the path is so impossibly dark, that I only have enough light for the very next step. So as I continue to walk in the light that I do have, the next step is automatically illuminated before me!
I may be confused at times, by some of life’s twists and turns.
But t am not confused about The Answer.
I will keep walking humbly, in the Light of God's Word on every single path.
I will take the step that is already lit in front of me.
And I will not lament about further guidance, until I walk in the truth that I already have...
Knowing that Jesus Is The Lamp
He promises to lead me through all of the darkness and confusion. And into His Marvelous Light.
